Hifz and adult learning

Hifz balances new memorisation, recent revision and older revision, with individual targets and Tajweed correction. Adults can choose Quran, Islamic studies or a mix without following the children’s year groups.

Progress and support

Children receive an end of year report, with termly reports available on request. Adult reports are optional on request. Tutors adapt pace, explanations and resources; a learning plan or meeting may be used where needed. Tutors do not diagnose SEND. SEND co leads may review educational support needs with families.

Parents, learners and tutors all support progress. Home practice should be manageable; tell the tutor when work is unclear or too difficult so the support can be reviewed.

Holidays and monthly payments

Children’s programmes follow the agreed Lancashire school holiday framework. Normal monthly fees stay the same during ordinary holidays and Eid closures. Standard children’s programmes close for Ramadan without a tuition charge for that closure; overlapping monthly fees are reduced proportionately.

Summer continuation is optional and depends on tutor availability. Payments pause for families not continuing; dates and fees for those continuing are agreed beforehand. Adult holiday and Ramadan continuation is agreed individually.

Regular Islamic tuition requires two weeks’ written notice to end. Part months and the final charge are calculated proportionately. Management confirms the applicable dates and amount. Read the parent guide and policies before enrolment.
