Parent policies and safeguarding
Clear expectations. Care at every step.
Read the parent policies alongside the relevant programme guide before enrolment.
Parent policies and acknowledgement
The revised Parent Policies are provided as a review draft pending approval. The Policy Acknowledgement Form is separate; it does not replace any additional consent required.

Feedback formsKey information
Registration and consent
Complete the relevant registration and Policy Acknowledgement Form. Separate permission is needed where relevant for recordings, publicity and sensitive topics.
Payments
All payments are due before lessons or the agreed monthly teaching period. Contact Asad about a discrepancy or difficulty before the lesson.
Cancellations and attendance
Give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellation normally remains payable, subject to the applicable waiver and circumstances. Tutors attempt contact after about ten minutes and may end a meeting after fifteen minutes without a response. Read the parent policy for the full arrangements.
Refunds and service problems
We do not offer discretionary refunds for properly delivered lessons or validly chargeable cancellations. Duplicate payments and overpayments are corrected for the affected amount. Statutory cancellation rights and remedies for undelivered or non conforming services remain available, including refunds where required. Contact management promptly.
SEND and learning plans
Support can include adjusted pace, explanations, resources, a meeting or a learning plan. Relevant reports can help us plan. Tutors do not diagnose; SEND co leads may review educational support needs. A formal diagnosis is not normally needed before support is considered.
Progress reporting
Academic tutors prepare half-termly reports, with weekly parent updates for GCSE groups. Islamic children’s programmes provide end of year reports and termly reports on request. Adult Islamic reports are optional on request. Concerns are discussed promptly.
Home tuition
Home lessons are arranged through Hikmah in approved areas. For an under 18, a responsible adult must remain present and teaching takes place in a suitable shared room. The online late cancellation waiver does not apply to home tuition.
Online safety
Keep joining links private and use approved communication channels. Recording requires the appropriate prior permission and consent. Google Meet is common; some tutors use Teams or Zoom.
Privacy
We use enquiry and feedback details to respond, administer tuition and review our service. Access to website submissions is restricted to Asad. Do not send medical reports or safeguarding details through general feedback forms. Ask for the full privacy notice or a suitable secure route for sensitive records.
